Stever Aubrey  
Chief Executive Officer

The CEO and Managing Partner at Dovetail Health, Stever Aubrey has a clear vision: that Dovetail can have a significant impact on redefining the way Americans manage aging. Prior to Dovetail, Stever was President and COO of M|C Communications and its brand Pri-Med, the world leader of continuing medical education conferences for primary care physicians. Stever led management and operations for Pri-Med during a significant growth period, implementing scalable systems and building a management team that would fuel Pri-Med's rapid national and international expansion.

Before Pri-Med, Stever spent over 23 years in the strategic marketing and advertising business in both New York and Boston. He has directed companies and brands in categories ranging from consumer package goods to financial services and healthcare. Stever was on the Senior Management Team at Hill Holliday in Boston for more than 10 years where — as EVP/General Manager — he worked closely with Jack Connors overseeing operations, management, and personnel for the company's Boston, New York, and San Francisco offices.

Jon Mellin  
Chief Financial Officer

Jon Mellin is the CFO and a Partner at Dovetail Health. Before joining Dovetail, Jon was Executive Vice President and CFO for Hill Holliday for five years, where he worked closely with Jack and Stever on financial matters. He was also part of the team responsible for business planning and execution at Hill Holliday, which acquired and integrated three companies during Jon's tenure.

Prior to joining Hill Holliday, Jon was CFO at First Communications, a private-equity backed venture focused on acquiring trade show companies. Jon has also held senior financial positions at Reed Exhibitions (a division of Reed Elsevier), the largest trade show organizer in the world with over 300 events operating in 25 countries. Jon began his career at Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers), where he earned his CPA license.

Jon is a former Director and Board Chair of Volunteers of America, a human services agency with a particular focus on serving the elderly. In addition, Jon is active as a team leader in the annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" event.

Leslie Hoyt, MSW  
Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer for Dovetail Health, Leslie Hoyt is responsible for all care management and operations. She has more than 20 years of experience as a team-oriented healthcare leader and a track record of outstanding performance in hospitals, managed care, healthcare technology, and business consulting.

Prior to Dovetail, Leslie worked at Sapient as Vice President, US Healthcare Practice Lead, where she oversaw all operations and was responsible for senior-level accounts. Sapient's US Healthcare Practice sold and delivered complex business and technology consulting projects. Leslie also served as COO at CareGroup Provider Service Network, where she was responsible for operations of Management Services Organization (MSO) for the CareGroup healthcare system (IDN) and Lahey Clinic. Prior to this, she was COO at Mount Auburn Independent Practice Association (MACIPA), a contracting entity representing 450 physician members from Mount Auburn, Cambridge, and Somerville Hospitals.

Leslie has a Master in Social Work degree and began her career in social services at Boston Hospital and Parkland Medical Center.

Michael D. Cantor, MD, JD  
Medical Director

Dr. Cantor is a geriatrician and attorney who has experience in telehealth, home care, and developing clinical programs for older adults. Before joining the Dovetail Health team, he was clinical director of the VA New England Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center (GRECC), and Associate Chief for Program Development in the Division of Aging at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Michael trained in internal medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and in geriatrics at Harvard Medical School, where he is currently an assistant professor in medicine. He has degrees in law and medicine from the University of Illinois and a bachelor's degree in political science from Johns Hopkins University.

Sandra L. Baldinger, PharmD, MS  
Director of Pharmacy

The Director of Pharmacy at Dovetail Health, Dr. Baldinger is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Northeastern University School of Pharmacy and an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Prior to joining Dovetail Health, Sandra was a Medication Knowledge Management Project Specialist at Partners Healthcare System, Inc., where she was responsible for maintaining and enhancing the clinical content of the medication knowledge bases used within the Partners Healthcare organization.

Sandra received her Bachelor of Science from Eastern Connecticut State University and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of California, San Francisco — where she also completed a Pharmacy Practice residency and received the Bowl of Hygeia Award from the School of Pharmacy. She received her Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, and completed a fellowship in Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research at Hartford Hospital.

Benjamin Bielak  
Director of Technology

As Director of Technology at Dovetail Health, Benjamin Bielak is responsible for the development and implementation of technology strategy across the clinical, sales, and marketing spheres. The strong set of skills he brings to Dovetail is founded on more than 14 years of extensive experience in the worlds of healthcare, technical leadership, business process management, and project management. Benjamin joined Dovetail from Boston Medical Center (BMC), where he was the Manager of Development and Integration. Prior to his tenure at BMC, Benjamin spent eight years as a Senior Manager of Technology at Sapient, where he led their e-health initiative and provided portfolio management and business process expertise to internal and external clients. Benjamin has a Master of Business Administration degree as well as a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. He is a designated Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems.

Karyn Rizzo, RN, CHPN, GCNS  
Director of Clinical Programs

Karyn was previous employed at the Miriam Hospital in Providence RI as a Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. Prior to this position, she has worked in managerial or consultative roles in the hospice industry for 8 years. Her areas of expertise include clinical and operational aspects of hospice, census growth and business development, staff education, and maintaining ongoing compliance with the Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs). Her areas of interest include geriatrics, pain management and hospice and palliative care. She is an active member of The New England Alliance of Hospice of Hope in Romania, The Hospital Association of RI (HARI) Palliative Care Committee, as well as the Rhode Island Falls Prevention Task Force. Karyn graduated from the New England Baptist School of Nursing and later completed her Masters in Nursing at the University of Rhode Island and looks forward to continuing her doctoral studies in the fall. Prior to working in hospice, Karyn owned a nursing agency with operations in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Ms. Rizzo received the prestigous Practice Change Fellowship and will participate in the program from 2008–2010.

Jeff Oberg  
Director of Program Management

As Director of Program Management, Jeff is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Dovetail's programs and strategic relationships. He brings over 15 years of experience of leading teams in fast-paced, goal-oriented, environments. Jeff was a consultant for nine years at Sapient, where he led multiple engagements in delivering business critical solutions for health care, financial service, and public service clients. He joined Dovetail from Staples, where he was a senior program manager in the IS department, responsible for the delivery of several key initiatives. Jeff began his professional career as Nuclear Submarine officer in the U.S. Navy, after earning his Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy. Jeff has a Master of Computer and Information Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
