In order to build a program that is truly scalable and sustainable, Dovetail has made significant investments in its own management infrastructure. The Dovetail Health Management System (DHMS) was built from the ground up to support our clinicians through every step of their patient care process. In addition, all of Dovetail’s systems have been built to the latest HIT standards and have been designed to facilitate reporting and sharing of key information with our partners.
Simplified, Dovetail’s technology is built to support a four-step patient care process:
- Validate: claims and data analysis to ensure that the right patients
are in the right programs at the right time - Assess: in-home customized assessment tools to determine clinically
how best to reduce the cost of care and improve patients’ quality of life - Manage: integrated EHR provides consistent and comprehensive clinical
pathway execution to ensure high-touch, quality patient management - Analyze: understand how programs track to defined goals and the operational
detail of service offerings to inform and improve future offerings
Dovetail Institute Clinician Education
The Dovetail Institute was created to support innovative healthcare delivery through the dissemination of relevant, cutting edge information and comprehensive clinician training. Members of Dovetail’s Clinical Teams receive in-depth training on program models and technology systems, both at the time of hire and on an ongoing basis. The Dovetail Institute education program focuses on standards of care, health coaching and behavior change models, chronic illness and health management, and use of proprietary technologies. The program includes initial classroom and field training; and continues with regularly scheduled remote sessions.
